For my wedding, I was passed down my Grandma's China that she received for her 25th anniversary. I hadn't seen it before, but once I did, I fell in love. During the short time that we spent looking at china and trying to pick out a set, I had decided that I wanted something simple, yet elegant, and classic. Which, to me, anything black and white is all of the above. I basically picked out my grandma's china, without even knowing...I guess you could say love at sight unseen.
They have now been married over 60 years (I think...) and I can just hope that this will be the charm that will give Dustin and I the happiness, longevity, and deeply unconditional love that they have had...and shared with their children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren. And of course I would love to pass that down to Kyndall, along with the set of her Great-Grandma's China.
